Touch Grass Club is a group of volunteers passionate about the natural world. We’re dedicated to providing space for our neighbors to learn who the plants, animals, and insects they share land with are - and how to care for them.
Native seed-planting workshops. Learn why native species are disappearing, how to bring them back, and start native plant seedlings with recycled materials.
Learning with Nature
Expert-led nature walks in and around Edmonton. Learn to identify local plants and animals, and participate in citizen science.
Community Cooks
Cultural cooking classes. Learn to cook a new dish, share a meal, and gift meals to neighbors facing food insecurity. Held in collaboration with New Grocery Movement and 4B Harm Reduction.
Meteor Shower Watch Party
Annual meteor shower watching event at Miquelon lake. Listen to sky stories from Elders, go on nature walks with Knowledge Holders and scientific experts, and look at the night sky in the Hesje Observatory.
Fairy Garden Picnic
Annual pride event. Bring a blanket and join us for crafts, community, food, and outdoor games. Learn about Queer history and biology beyond the binary in nature.
